We want you to feel confident using our products every day. By steering clear of many commonly flagged ingredients, we deliver thoughtful, results-driven skincare with fewer worries.

Our Expanded Clean Beauty No List

(Categories We Never Use)

• Parabens — All types (methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, etc.)
• Phthalates — All phthalates and related plasticizers
• Sulfates — Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), and harsh sulfates
• Petroleum-Derived Ingredients — Mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, and petroleum jelly
• Nanoparticles — Nano titanium dioxide, nano zinc oxide, and other nanoparticles
• Synthetic Fragrance — Undisclosed “fragrance” or “parfum” (all our products are free of added fragrance and essential oils)
• Forever Chemicals (PFAS) — All PFAS and per/polyfluoroalkyl substances
• Chemical Sunscreen Filters — Oxybenzone, octinoxate, and similar
• Formaldehyde & Releasers — DMDM Hydantoin, Quaternium-15, etc.
• Triclosan & Triclocarban — Antibacterial agents
• EDTA Chelators — All EDTA variants
• Isothiazolinones — Methylisothiazolinone (MIT), Methylchloroisothiazolinone (MCIT)
• Benzalkonium Chloride — Common harsh preservative
• Hydroquinone, Coal Tar & Toluene — High-risk ingredients
• p-Phenylenediamine — High-risk colorants
• Unsustainable Palm Derivatives — Where we have viable cleaner alternatives

In Total: We avoid dozens of the most commonly flagged harmful skincare ingredients across the widest clean beauty standards (which together can reference over 2,700 entries when including all synonyms and related compounds).

We are proudly paraben-free, phthalate-free, sulfate-free, PFAS-free, and fragrance-free.
